Praise The Lord

Praise the Lord.

Praise God in His sanctuary;

Praise Him in His mighty heavens.

Praise Him for His acts of power;

Praise Him for His surpassing greatness.

Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet,

Praise Him with the harp and lyre,

Praise Him with tambourine and dancing.

Praise Him with the strings and flute,

Praise Him with the clash of cymbals.

Praise Him with resounding cymbals.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord.

Blessings Mary...I was going to ask who the sweet band for the Lord are...cute addition. Last Sunday that is how I felt when I used Psalm 150 and then I moved into a very peaceful mode. But from that well within rises our praises! Thank you for sharing this Psalm again today! It refreshes my energy to Praise Him with all of me! May the Lord shine His light on you and yours with awonderful Spiritual Sunday praising Him!

The Psalms are full of such beautiful praises. When I'm at a loss of such wonderful praises, I've sought the songs to say the words my heart cannot find.

Adorable pic...presumably of your boys.
Love,
Paula

when i was a little girl in the first grade, my girlfriends and i were in the talent show...at that time, we loved the group, THE MONKEYS! So, we "lip synched" to their song as we played "cardboard cutout" guitars, a plastic tambourine, a drum set made out of lamp shades and a hairbrush as the microphone. I haven't thought of that for years...thank you for causing me to remember it. it must have bee hilarious to watch us doing this but we took it seriously and thought we were "teenagers"...it was so much fun!
Have a blessed week.

Psalm 111:10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.

I love that Psalm--we are to be actively involved in worship with our entire being--I love the way that Psalm expresses it. When I sometimes visit churches that don't catch this all out feeling of worhip I feel like shouting, WAKE UP!! We are worhipping the living, almighty all powerful God!!Sing with full hearts!!! YIKES!!
